A few weeks ago I did a little daytrip to Delft, one of the most gorgeous cities of Holland. I’d never been in Delft before, so it felt like I was a tourist in my own country. This city is like mini-Amsterdam, it’s absolutely pretty with canals and little houses everywhere, although it’s less crowded with people. Moreover, Delft has also many places where you can go for healthy food. After some exploring I had lunch at The Living, a cafe with a cosy, arty interior and a lot of wholesome food.

All the food they serve at The Living is 100% organic. Their concept is that you have to pay for the weight of the food you choose. Which means you can make it as cheap or pricey as you want. They have grilled vegetables, homemades quiches, salads, soups, fresh pressed juices and many sweet treats such as brownies, raspberry muffins and coconut macaroons. I had a plate with grilled courgette, a cous cous salad and a bean salad with a fresh beetroot juice on the side. It was all very tasty, especially the juice was my favourite. If you just want to enjoy a cup of coffee by yourself that’s also possible, they have wifi and loads of inspiring cook books to read too.
